I am pleased to announce that
Rich Wilkinson of Watkins Meegan LLC will present the topic, "Excessive
Pass-Through Costs" at the September 13th IMA Government Contractor
Breakfast. The presentation summary is as follows:
The directive to limit allowability of G&A and profit (pass through costs)
on subcontracts is more than two years old, but DCAA issued new audit
guidance on the issue just this summer. And, while the guidance will make
G&A and profit unbillable on some contracts, it will still be an allocable
cost. This will create a significant exposure for some contracts with large
subcontracts and even more for contractors using the value added G&A base.
